Dr. Leenatha Reddy Jakkidi is a senior consultant pediatrician and specialist in pediatric endocrinology and childhood diabetes. Dr Leenatha has trained in UK and has wide experience in treating children with hormonal conditions such as short stature, obesity, pubertal disorders and childhood diabetes.

Dr. Leenatha’s approach is to establish a partnership with children and their families in managing their conditions to lead a full and healthy life. She has a keen interest in increasing community awareness of childhood endocrine disorders and has been active in multidisciplinary clinics for children with Down’s syndrome, Thalassemia and Childhood diabetes.

Dr. Leenatha Reddy Jakkidi began her journey as a medical professional in 1996 in India. With a passion to bring her patients back to good health, Dr. Leenatha pursued her post-doctoral training in the U.K.

After completing her initial training in pediatrics, she pursued three years of higher specialist training in Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes at the Nottingham University Hospitals, U.K.

Dr. Leenatha participated in the organization of several interactive pediatric workshops and local committees aimed at creating awareness on childhood diabetes and hormone-related disorders. On her return to India, she has been active in co-founding multi-disciplinary clinics for children with Thalassemia, Down’s syndrome and Childhood Diabetes.

Currently, Dr. Leenatha Jakkidi is a consultant at renowned medical centers in Hyderabad. She does clinics at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Apollo Hospitals and Butterflies Child Development Center and helps children with endocrine problems find their way back to good health and to achieve their potential in life.
